COVID-19 Update

FCCNP places a high priority on the safety of our attendees and community, as well as complying with Governor DeWine’s mandates and recommendations.

Beginning Sunday, July 26, we will comply with Governor DeWine’s most recent mandate and request those attending a First Christian Church worship service wear masks.

**FOOTNOTE**

This mandate does not apply to those in the process of leading, or  “officiating” a religious service and does not apply to minors who cannot safely wear a face covering.

ONSITE SERVICES, SUNDAYS 10a

Our children’s ministry has resumed operations for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.  While we social distance in Super Kids, we still worship and learn about Jesus. Masks are required.

We want to reassure you of the measures we are actively taking to keep our building safe during this time.
  • We have purchased disinfecting equipment that is routinely used throughout the building during the week, including restrooms and commonly touched areas, such as door handles, handrails, etc.
On Sunday morning, we will take the following extra precautions:
  • MASKS are required.  Should you need a mask, we have some available at the parking lot entrance and the 3rd Street Auditorium entrance.
  • WE WILL PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING.  Please do not gather and socialize in the lobby, visit in the parking lot. Welcome others warmly, but please do so with a smile or nod, rather than a handshake or hug.
  • Physical distancing will continue in the auditorium where you will be seated by ushers to insure proper spacing.
  • There will be no paper handouts (connection cards, offering envelopes, change for a dollar cards, bulletins). We encourage you to download our church app and the YouVersion Bible app.
  • Entrance doors will be propped open so you will not have to touch and door handles (other than restrooms).
  • Hand sanitizer stations are located at each entrance.
  • Nothing will be passed from person to person.  Individualized communion cups will be given to you upon entering the auditorium. The offering will be collected with containers as you leave.  You are encouraged to continue giving online through our app.
  • IN ADDITION, WE ASK THAT IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL, HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS RELATED TO COVID-19, OR LIVING WITH SOMEONE THAT IS ILL, PLEASE STAY HOME AND WATCH OUR SERVICE ONLINE UNTIL YOU ARE OUTSIDE OF THE RECOMMENDED CDC QUARANTINE WINDOW OF 14 DAYS.
