 Missions

First Christian Church supports the following missions:

Vida Neuva Ministries

Jair and Norma Castillo, in El Ejido, Mexico, are involved in the lives of local inhabitants through a medical clinic, a food distribution center, a children's home, and most importantly, the El Ejido Christian Church.

Athletes In Action

One of the ministries of Campus Crusade for Christ, Athletes in Action is directed by Doug Pollock. This ministry enables athletes on the college and professional levels to use their athletic ability and exposure as a means of ministering to those who might not go to church to hear the message of the gospel.

Case De Ninos

The purpose of this mission is to provide a home for neglected, abused and abandoned children, and to teach them about Christ's love. David and Sheri DeBolt, along with their family, undertake the daily needs of the home, and through a family atmosphere, show the children what it meas to love and to be loved.

Venezuela Vineyards

The Dave and Donna Linn family works with another couple in Caracas, Venezuela, where they founded the Chacaito Church five years ago. Their church focuses on leadership and evangelism to spread the gospel to unreached tribes.

Greater Dover-New Philadelphia Food Pantry

The food pantry opened in January in conjunction with the local Salvation Army.  Food is distributed at the Salvation Army building in Dover every Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
